These Terms of Service explain the rules for using the Via Parentis website and services. Via Parentis is a privacy-first family-building agency. There are no public profiles, no swiping, and all communication is mediated.

1. Overview
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Via Parentis website, including Get Started, Contact requests, and any proposal or quote links you receive. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Via Parentis is not a clinic and not a law firm, and we do not provide medical or legal advice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Get Started or submit a Contact request. You must provide accurate and truthful information. We may refuse service, pause a case, or close a case if eligibility requirements are not met or if information appears inconsistent or abusive.
3. Definitions
Requester means a person seeking a pathway to parenthood through a Find service or coordination service.
Candidate means a person applying to become a surrogate, egg donor, sperm donor, partner, or co-parent through a Become service.
Curated matchesidentified internally and are not public profiles.
Mediated communication means Via Parentis manages communications; users do not message each other.
4. Services
We provide coordination, structured intake review, curated introductions, and pathway guidance services.
We do not guarantee successful matching, medical outcomes, legal approval, or pregnancy.
5. No Marketplace Model
Via Parentis does not operate as a public marketplace. There are no searchable profiles or direct messaging features.
6. Process & Pricing
Get Started is free. Fees apply only if you choose to unlock curated matches or commission a targeted search.
Proposals outline scope, timeline, and fees. Adoption Guidance and Clinic Coordination are referral-based services only.
7. Payments
Fees are provided in a written proposal. Payment terms are specified before engagement. Taxes may apply depending on jurisdiction.
8. Refunds
Unless otherwise stated in writing, payments for completed services are non-refundable. If a service has not yet commenced, partial refunds may be evaluated at our discretion.
9. User Responsibilities
You agree to communicate respectfully, provide truthful information, and comply with applicable laws.
10. Prohibited Use
You may not misuse the site, submit false data, attempt to bypass mediated communication, or engage in harassment or fraud.
11. Third Parties
We may refer you to clinics, legal professionals, or agencies. We are not responsible for their independent services.
12. Privacy & Cookies
Use of this site is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
13. Disclaimers
Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee timelines or outcomes.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Via Parentis shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Via Parentis from claims arising from your misuse of the site or breach of these Terms.
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if Terms are violated or if misuse is detected.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes indicates acceptance.
18. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Stockholm, Sweden, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
